Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza is a beautiful actress that is leaving a mark on the small screen. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26, 1976. Her move to Texas in pursuit of her dream of becoming an exercise physiotherapist on the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Florida, Orlando and performed in a wide range of character roles. These included local independent films and international commercials. Despite small roles, she was soon able to discover her love for acting. After moving into New York, in 2001, Rosa Santos earned her first acting role in the show All My Children. The actress had a few roles on JAG the Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men in the early 2000s. The year 2004 saw her landing her first major series role on the short-lived drama The Mountain. The character was Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate enough to share the screen with some of the most prestigious TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. The year 2006 was the time she played A.D.A. on Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. She then migrated to the short-lived sequel Law & Order: LA. De La Garza received nominations for a variety of awards, including Best Supporting Actress for TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as several ALMA Award nominations. In addition, the National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded the Impact Award, which is presented to outstanding performers in an upcoming drama series. De La Garza landed a reprise role in CSI Miami a few moments later. She starred as Marisol Delko, who is the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. Her most recent work on TV was with NBC's rather dramatic dark show Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. After just two episodes, the show was ended. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is of Italian heritage and has a younger brother Cory who is 10 years older. Her family was a religious and conservative family. Milano was first introduced to acting when she was just seven years old. Babysitters would take her along for an audition. Milano was one of the four girls picked from more than 1,000 aspirants. Milano is featured in TV advertisements, off-Broadway productions and Jane Eyre, the American premiere of Jane Eyre.
