Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples is an American actress and singer. Most famously, she is known for her role as Layla Grant, in Nashville (2012) drama and Claudia Shepard from Sharknado (2013). Also, she played the lead character Jerrica Jem Benton, in the film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples is the daughter of Wendy and Ashley Peeples. Her younger sister is Ally. Aubrey spent ten seasons performing in Orlando Repertory Theatre. Her graduation ceremony from Lake Mary Preparatory School was the class's valedictory speech in 2012. Harvard University was willing to accept her. But, she declined the invitation twice. The second time was due to her desire to perform in Nashville. Peeples was a character in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2012) Grey's Anatomy (2005). Peeples was a part of two TV-produced movies, Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). She was a part of the cast for the role of a major regular in an episode of the drama series Nashville where she played Layla Grant. In 2019 Peeples admitted to having bipolar disorder in an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire identified Peeples among the top actors under the age of twenty-one in September 2014.
